Staying in the dome was super cool. The whole setup was clearly well thought out. My wife and I visited in the off season. So we probably had an extra quiet experience. It was a cold night (frost in the morning), but we stayed comfortable on the heated mattress, and with the heater and wood-stove in the dome. It was a nice getaway. Private hot tub was nice too. This was a great find for us!

My wife and I decided to do a little get away over thanksgiving and it was PERFECT. It was snowy and cold, but the igloo stayed warm and cozy even in 20 degree weather. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire. The heaters and heated mattress made everything so comfy, our dogs also enjoyed their stay. The beach was about a 5 minute drive, everything was great!

Our stay at Dome Haven was the relaxing, unplugged getaway we needed. We showed up in the middle of a typical Michigan lake effect show storm and our host Kate went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The domes are located minutes outside of downtown South Haven. We ran in to town for coffee and takeout, but spent most of our trip in front of the wood burning stove enjoying the first snow of the year. We were a little concerned about the weather, but found that between the stove, heater, and heated bed we were extremely comfortable. We look forward to returning in the future.

The dome was very nicely decorated! Everything from the slippers and robes for the hot tub to the lights hanging around the dome. We were nervous it was going to be too cold staying in November but the heated mattress and heater were perfect. Our pup loved hanging outside by the fire pit with us (which had extra wood in case we needed it) and we were able to find some wineries near by that we can sit outside with her. It’s a great location and place for a weekend getaway. We felt like we had our own space but also could reach out to Kate if we needed anything as well!

This is the perfect spot for a weekend away! The dome was so cozy was the perfect way to celebrate our 1-year anniversary. It’s so close to downtown South Haven, we enjoyed a nice day of wine-tasting and dinner, then had the most relaxing night at Dome Haven. Our hot tub was already the perfect temperature upon arrival, and our dome was heated perfectly with cold drinks inside! We will definitely be coming back next year for our anniversary again :)
